Tips for Coloring Carnotaurus
1. Don’t Get Stuck on Green
People always think dinosaurs have to be lizard green. Honestly scientists have no clue what colors they really were.

2. Horns Need Contrast
The carnotaurus has those two distinct horns above its eyes. You want them to stand out from the rest of the head.
If the body is dark make the horns a light bone color. It creates a cool focal point on the page.
3. Blending the Sky
A lot of these pages have wide open skies and clouds. Using just one flat blue marker can look pretty boring.
Try using crayons to softly layer light blue and white. It gives the prehistoric sky a much softer feel.
4. Mixing Textures for Ground
You will notice rocks and dirt and cracked mud in these scenes. Don’t color the ground all one shade of brown.
