Tips for Coloring Little Twin Stars
1. The Magic of Pastels
Sanrio characters practically demand soft pastel colors. If you hit them with a hard neon pink it just looks wrong. I always pull out the light baby blues and soft rosy pinks first.
If your kid only has basic bright markers they can color lightly with a white crayon over it to soften the shade. It takes a little extra effort. But it really gives that dreamy Kiki and Lala aesthetic.
2. Shading the Clouds
Almost every picture has massive fluffy clouds taking up the bottom half. Leaving them pure white is boring. Honestly it just looks unfinished.
