New in the window: Rarity coloring pages, sized for any home printer and drawn with lines bold enough for small hooves… sorry, hands. Thirty designs, one very particular unicorn, absolutely zero wrinkles allowed.
A few of these are chibi and gentle, while others want real patience with ringlets, gem facets and one magnificent pirate plume. The price tag says free, and I suspect Rarity would find that mildly scandalous.

Chibi designs are easy to spot, with giant heads and stubby legs that suit preschool hands. The fuller scenes ask more of a colorer, with ship rigging, a vanity mirror and a boutique storefront waiting for a steady pencil.
Featured Rarity Coloring Pages
Rarity taking a spa break with cucumber slices over her eyes makes me giggle. She certainly knows how to sneak in a little pampering! I’d go for a mint-green face mask and a lovely purple mane, but a pink mask could be just her style too.
Rarity is giving this little stage the royal treatment, and I’d be tempted to make those sparkling curtains purple with a sprinkle of gold. Getting ready for a school play was always half the fun, especially when someone decided we needed just a little more glitter!
Rarity’s perfect smile and sparkling eyes make polishing that mirror look like the fanciest job in Equestria. I’d leave a few little spots white for extra shine. If only getting the bathroom mirror this sparkly were as much fun!
I love how Rarity manages to look fancy even while snoozing, with her sleep mask on and a curler tucked into her mane. Those lavish canopy curtains are just begging for purple and gold, though I suspect she’d approve of anything with a little sparkle!

Rarity Coloring Pages Highlights
Chibi Rarity Stacking Fabric Rolls
That pile of fabric is taller than she is, and Rarity looks delighted about it. She’s up on her hind legs with a front hoof braced against the rolls, grinning like a pony who just hit a fabric sale.
The rolls all end in fat spirals, great practice for kids still learning to steer a crayon in circles. Window and plank floor stay simple. A strong first pick for preschoolers.
Tripping Over a Long Ribbon
Not her most graceful moment. A long ribbon has looped around her legs, she’s caught mid-stumble with her mouth hanging open, and little shock lines pop up above her head.
My middle kid, Sam, claimed this one first and colored the ribbon like a racetrack. Thick chibi outlines can take a heavy hand, and that ribbon gives speedy colorers one long swoosh to follow from end to end.
Kawaii Rarity Sipping Tea with a Bow on Her Mane
This one is all manners. Perched on a cushioned seat at a small round table, she lifts a dainty cup while a bow sits in her mane and one flower stands in a vase beside the saucer.
Set it out for a tea party, a pretend café afternoon or a grandma visit. Younger kids can stick to the cup and the bow, and older ones will want the curtain, the window panes and every curl of that tail.
Baking a Cake with a Piped Frosting Border
Rarity doesn’t do sloppy, not even with buttercream. She holds a piping bag over a cake on a tall stand, finishing a border of neat little frosting dots, while a mixing bowl with a spoon waits in front of her.
Hand it to the kid who “helps” bake on Saturdays, or bring a stack to a birthday table. Every frosting dot is its own tiny circle to fill, which older kids find oddly calming. Little ones may wander off halfway around the cake…
Cleaning Her Boutique with a Feather Duster
Housework, Rarity style. Her eyes are shut, her mouth is caught mid-sigh and the feather duster is raised high, as though the dust had personally offended her.
Behind her stand a dress form, a handbag on an arched shelf and a diamond shape above it, so there’s plenty to decorate. Any parent who has wiped the same counter four times today will recognize that face.
Dressed as a Fancy Pirate Captain
Of all the My Little Pony Rarity coloring pages here, this is the wildcard. A wooden crate sits under one hoof as she stands aboard a ship, wearing a captain’s coat with a ruffled collar and a hat crowned by an enormous feather.
Rigging climbs up the left side and a railing of turned posts runs behind her, so detail lovers stay busy for a good while. Pirate parties and dress-up day at school were made for it.
Floating a Spool and Measuring Tape in Her Workshop
Mid-project and fully focused. A spool of thread and a curling measuring tape hang in the air beside her, and a dress form waits in the back for whatever she’s about to make.
Crafty kids get this one right away, especially the ones who raid the sewing basket. Open space around her also leaves room to doodle extra floating pins, buttons or a pincushion.
Grand Opening of a Boutique
Big day. Scissors in hoof, she lines up a ribbon tied in a huge bow, strung between two posts in front of her shop, with a bunch of balloons off to one side.
A striped awning with a diamond on top makes the storefront feel like somewhere you could actually walk in. It suits any “grand opening” in a kid’s life: a first day of school, a new bedroom, a lemonade stand at the end of the driveway.
8 Tips for Coloring Rarity
Give Her Mane a Salon Root Smudge
Rarity’s deep purple mane is drawn as heavy curls on almost every page. Practice on the vanity mirror page, where the whole mane shows at once.
Hairdressers call it a root smudge: darker at the roots, softer at the ends. Press hard with a purple pencil near her head and ease off as each curl rolls out.
Find Her Eyeshadow on the Sighing Page
Among the main six, only Rarity wears blue eyeshadow, as far as I can tell. Most pages show it as just a sliver under her lashes.
But her eyes are closed on the feather duster page, so the whole lid shows. Fill it with pale blue pencil and keep the lashes dark.
Three Blue Diamonds on Her Flank
Her cutie mark came when her horn dragged her to a plain rock that cracked open full of gems. Real blue diamonds, like the Hope Diamond, get their color from traces of boron.
These gems are tiny, so spin the paper instead of twisting your wrist. Each point comes to your hand that way.
Make the Big Diamond Sparkle
A gem stars on three pages: the gasp, the display window necklace and the princess brooch. Jewelry photographers hold black cards near diamonds, because pure white makes them look dead.
Color two or three facets navy and leave the rest blank. Then dot a little red, yellow and blue at the corners for rainbow “fire.”
Design the Fabric on Every Roll
A stack of plain, identical rolls would horrify Rarity. Give each one its own print: stripes, dots, tiny diamonds.
Try gingham with ruled pencil lines in three tones, darkest where two stripes cross. No other scene among these coloring pages of Rarity gives young designers this much freedom.
Number the Tape and Wind the Thread
On the workshop page, color the thread with short sideways strokes, the way it winds on the spool. Keep the spool’s wooden ends a plain tan.
Little marks run along the measuring tape. Kids who love precision can number them 1, 2, 3 with a fine pen.
Feathers, Twice Over
Both feathers, the pirate plume and the boutique duster, look fluffy like real ostrich. Ostrich feathers lack the tiny hooks that zip an ordinary feather flat.
So skip the solid fill and flick short strokes out from the center shaft. Lift the pencil at the end of each stroke to keep the tips wispy.
Pick a Shop Before the Ribbon Gets Cut
Carousel Boutique in Ponyville was her first shop, and later she opens more in Canterlot and Manehattan. This page doesn’t say which one, so let your kid choose.
Go pastel for Ponyville, or brick red and city gray for Manehattan, the show’s New York. Afterward, tape a real scrap of ribbon across the two posts.
