Princess Peach Coloring Pages (Free Printable PDFs)

I literally stepped on a plastic tiara at 6 AM today. My girls are in a massive royal phase right now and everything has to be pink. So I (and our team) grabbed my iPad to finally draw some Princess Peach coloring pages from scratch.

We did an amazing job making them totally unique because honestly the official stuff is pretty boring. And what follows from this? Just a lot of quiet time for me while the kids color.

You won’t find any of that pixelated junk here since we actually illustrate everything ourselves. My oldest kid actually helped pick out some of the outfits for this batch.

Just browse the grid below and click whatever looks fun. The free Princess Peach coloring pages will open right up as PDFs.

Your kids will also love: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Rosalina, Bowser, Koopa Troopa.

Highlighted Princess Peach Coloring Pages

Peach the Pirate Captain

She looks so fierce holding that cutlass sword on the beach. There is a whole pirate ship and a treasure chest right behind her. We try to make printable Princess Peach coloring pages that break the mold completely.

My kids immediately fought over who got to color the pirate hat. You can use so many cool brown tones for the ship and the wooden chest. It is a fantastic scene for older kids who like details.

Spooky Zombie Princess

Fall is a big deal in our house so we had to make a spooky version. She has creepy stitch marks and her dress is all torn up at the bottom. We added carved pumpkins and gravestones to the background.

This is definitely a weird Princess Peach coloring sheet but the boys loved it. My son colored her skin bright green which was . . . let’s say deeply disturbing. But hey it kept him busy for around 45 minutes.

Stealing Mario’s Look

Seeing her in Mario’s overalls and that classic letter hat is just hilarious. The team threw in some warp pipes and little stars to complete the joke. Finding Princess Peach coloring pages for kids with this much personality is rare.

It gives them a break from all the pink crayons honestly. You can practice blending reds and blues on her outfit. Honestly I kind of want those overalls for myself.

Racing in the Pink Kart

You literally can’t have Mario characters without some racing involved. She is driving this cute little Toad shaped kart down a winding road. The mountains in the back even have little eyes on them.

The big tires take a lot of black crayon to fill in. Whenever we drop new free Princess Peach coloring pages the racing ones go first. It is just a really dynamic fast looking picture.

Catching a Cheep Cheep

Running a kingdom is stressful so we sent her fishing in a tiny rowboat. She just caught a grumpy looking Cheep Cheep right out of the water. There is a castle sitting up on the distant hill.

The fishing line is super thin so it helps with motor skills. A Princess Peach coloring sheet like this is perfect for quiet Sunday mornings. The water ripples give you a chance to play with different blues.

Floating Down Safely

She is just gently hovering in the sky surrounded by puffy clouds and stars. The castle spires are poking up from the ground way down below. It has a very dreamy relaxing vibe to it.

You can color the sky a dark night blue to make the stars pop. That is exactly why we make printable Princess Peach coloring pages with rich backgrounds. It turns a simple character into a full art project.

A Much Needed Spa Day

This is my personal favorite drawing we have ever published. She is wearing a thick bathrobe with cucumber slices on her eyes. There is a steaming cup of tea sitting on the little table next to her.

I am deeply jealous of a fictional character right now. Little potted plants sit in the background giving it a fresh feel. Good Princess Peach coloring pages for kids should make the parents smile too.

Power Star Magic

Here she is in her classic royal dress looking very proud. She is holding a massive Power Star up in one hand. The clean castle background makes her look incredibly important.

The star is a great place to practice making things look like they are glowing. Just leave the center white and color the edges bright yellow. It grounds the abstraction in physical reality..

Tips for Coloring Princess Peach Coloring Sheets

1. Layering the Pink Dress

Her dress is not just one flat neon pink color. If they use a single marker it just looks completely lifeless and boring. I teach my kids to layer the colors to make it look heavy.

Put down a light baby pink base layer first. Then take a darker magenta pencil and hit the edges where the folds are. It creates a subtle shadow that makes a huge difference. Sometimes skipping explanations and just handing them the two pencils works best.

2. Shading the Gold Crown

Gold is a really frustrating color to replicate with cheap crayons. A standard yellow crayon just makes her crown look like cheap plastic. You have to mix warm tones to get that metallic shine.

Take a light brown or ochre pencil and draw a line near the bottom edge. Blend it up into the yellow to create depth. Those little red and blue jewels need to be super bright to contrast the metal. All this color theory comes down to one thing: contrast is everything.

3. Mixing Skin Tones

Her skin is a very pale delicate peach color. If you do not have a specific peach crayon you can actually make one pretty easily. Just lightly dust the paper with a regular orange colored pencil.

Then take a white crayon and scrub over the orange to smudge it out. It creates a perfectly smooth skin tone that looks incredibly natural. Do not explain everything in too much detail to the kids. Just let them figure out how the wax mixes on their own.

4. Detailing the White Gloves

She always wears those pristine white evening gloves. Most kids just leave them the exact color of the printer paper. Which is fine but it can look a bit unfinished on a nice drawing.

Taking a pale blue pencil and barely tracing the edges makes them pop. The blue acts like a cold shadow on the white fabric. This decision is . . . let’s say counter-intuitive. But it makes the gloves look three dimensional.

5. Background Contrast

We pack a ton of details into the backgrounds of these specific scenes. There are castles and pipes and clouds everywhere. She is such a bright pink character that she needs cool colors behind her.

Use cool blues and greens for the sky and the grass. If you use warm colors like orange she will completely blend in. You want her to jump off the page. Will this work tomorrow? No idea. But today it definitely works.

6. Defining the Blonde Hair

Her hair is a very rich warm yellow. But it has a lot of swoops and thick curls that need definition. Crayons are usually too blunt to get into those tight little corners.

I strongly suggest pulling out the colored pencils for her hair specifically. You can sharpen them to a point and trace the individual strands. And what follows from this? The fact that you will be sharpening pencils for 20 minutes. It might cause some inconvenience but it looks better.

7. Giving the Eyes Life

She has these massive bright blue eyes with thick black eyelashes. Use a dark navy blue for the irises instead of a light sky blue. It makes her look a bit more focused and less cartoonish.

Leaving a tiny speck of white paper uncolored in the pupil is crucial. That little white dot makes the eyes look wet and alive. It is a very small trick that professional artists use all the time. Sometimes leaving thoughts unsaid is like leaving paper uncolored. It makes an impact.

8. Embrace the Mess

At the end of the day it really is just a piece of paper. If my daughter wants to color her dress swamp green I let her do it. I used to hover and correct their color choices which just ruined the fun.

Now I just let them destroy the page with whatever colors they grab first. The weirdest color combinations usually end up looking the most interesting anyway. We design these specifically so they have room to make mistakes. Just print them out and walk away.
