It feels like every time I turn around in my house someone is yelling “Pika Pika!” at the top of their lungs.
My youngest has even started trying to throw my throw pillows like Pokeballs. That’s honestly why we put together these Pikachu coloring pages for you to print.

There are tons of different designs here to keep them busy for at least an hour. Or maybe twenty minutes if they rush through it like my middle child usually does.
We made sure the lines are bold enough for chunky crayons but detailed enough for older kids with colored pencils. You can see the previews below before choosing which one you like the most.

Pikachu Coloring Page Highlights
Weather Station Data Collection
Here is our little electric friend standing outside next to some serious weather equipment. He is holding a clipboard and looking pretty happy about a lightning bolt flashing in the sky behind him.
I think he might actually be causing the storm. This one is great for older kids because the anemometer and the little rain gauge add some technical details to color.
The Town Noticeboard Discovery
This is probably my favorite one out of all the free Pikachu coloring pages we made. He is standing on a cobblestone path looking absolutely shocked at a wanted poster of himself.
The expression on his face is just priceless. Kids can color the town buildings in the background and the little flowers near his feet.
Paddling Down the Canal
Well he is definitely trying his best in this little wooden canoe. He is holding an oar but the water is rushing one way and he seems to be struggling.
My oldest said he is obviously going the wrong direction down this super long canal. The trees on the banks are perfect for adding different shades of green.
Driving Through a Car Wash
I honestly don’t know how he got a license or a tiny convertible. But here he is driving right through a bunch of giant car wash brushes with the top down.
Water is spraying everywhere and he looks thrilled about it. These printable Pikachu coloring pages are fun because you can make the car literally any wild color you want.
Crying at the Movies
This poor guy is sitting in a movie theater seat absolutely bawling his eyes out. There is a huge tub of popcorn sitting right next to him on the chair.
We have all been there watching a sad movie. It is a really cute scene and the theater seats give kids a chance to practice shading big blocks of color.
Dramatic Cape Transformation
This one gives off serious superhero vibes. He is bursting out of a classic glass phone booth throwing a cape over his shoulder super dramatically.
He looks like he is ready to save the city from Team Rocket. I always tell my kids to make the cape a really bright red so it pops against the city background.
Four Silly Photo Booth Shots
Getting kids to sit still for photos is a nightmare. But this sheet shows four different photo booth strips with a different funny face in each frame.
In one he is winking and in another he looks totally surprised. It is one of the best coloring pages of Pikachu for siblings to share and color together.
Sweating in the Sauna
Okay this one is just plain funny. Our yellow buddy is sitting on wooden benches in a hot sauna wrapped in a tiny little towel.
He is sweating buckets and there is a bucket of rocks steaming next to him. These Pikachu coloring sheets are perfect if you want a picture with lots of funny little details to color.
Tips for Coloring Pikachu
1. Don’t Just Stick to One Yellow
Kids always grab that one standard yellow crayon and color the whole thing flat. It gets boring fast.
Try mixing different shades. Use a lighter yellow for his tummy and a mustard color for the shadows under his arms. It makes the picture look so much better.
2. Getting the Cheeks Right
Those red cheeks are iconic. But if you press too hard with a red marker it bleeds through the paper and ruins the table.
Trust me on this one. I use magic erasers on my dining table weekly. Instead use a soft red pencil and color lightly in circles to make them look round and glowing.
3. Save the Black Ink for Last
The tips of his ears are black. If your kid colors the black parts first they will definitely smudge it into the yellow.
It turns into a muddy green mess. Always do the dark ear tips and the nose at the very end. That keeps the rest of the picture looking clean and bright.
4. Give the Background Some Love
A lot of these pages have detailed scenes like the car wash or the town square. Don’t leave them blank.
It is a great excuse to use all those weird crayon colors at the bottom of the box. Coloring the background really makes the yellow character stand out on these Pikachu coloring sheets.
5. Making Electricity Look Cool
There are a few pages where you can see lightning bolts. Usually kids just color them yellow too.
But electricity looks way cooler with some light blue or purple traced around the edges. It gives it that bright neon energy feel. Just try it next time they color a storm scene.
6. Use the Good Paper for Markers
Printer paper is thin and cheap. That is fine for quick scribbles with crayons before dinner.
But if your kids are using those heavy alcohol markers you need something thicker like cardstock. Otherwise it bleeds right onto the next page and ruins the whole stack. I learned that the hard way.
7. Let Them Mess Up the Colors
Who says he has to be yellow? If my daughter wants to make him hot pink and neon green I just let her.
It is about keeping them busy and letting them be creative. There is no rule book for how to fill in these lines. Let them go crazy with glitter pens if they want.
8. Hanging Up the Masterpieces
We get overwhelmed with papers in this house. You can’t keep every single thing they color.
Have a dedicated string with clothespins in the playroom for their favorites. Swap them out when they finish a new one. It makes them feel proud without turning your fridge into a cluttered nightmare.
